The 2026 Ohio Cichlid Association (OCA) Extravaganza is right around the corner. If you’ve never been to this annual event, I encourage you to give it a shot.
Held every year in Strongsville, Ohio (a suburb of Cleveland) on the weekend preceding Thanksgiving, it is a premier cichlid event. With great speakers, vendor booths, auctions, a swap meet, and an opportunity to meet many of the best cichlid keepers/breeders in the country, it’s worth the trip. This year marks’s the event’s 32nd year.
It is also a very special event for me every year. It’s one of the limited opportunities I get to spend a few days with many of my cichlid keeping friends from around the country. I am also proud that the blog is one of the many sponsors.
Visit the Extravaganza website for more information, to register, and to reserve your room at the conference hotel. I promise you will not be disappointed if you attend.
