Neolamprologus similis wrigglers on deck!

There was both great news and bad news in the fish room this past week. First, the great news. While doing regular tank maintenance, I miraculously spotted some wrigglers in my Neolamprologus similis tank.

I only saw two or three but was still very surprised at this discovery because I have only had the fish for a month. Based on their size, I did not think they were mature enough to spawn. Oh well, a nice surprise indeed!

The bad news is I was filling another tank and completely forgot about it in my excitement upon discovering the wrigglers. Nothing like hearing water hitting the floor when doing water changes. Ugh!!

Anyway, nothing a few towels and some floor fans can’t handle (yes, I have carpet where the tank sits).
