East African cichlids

Because the majority of cichlids I keep are from the waters of East Africa, most of the content on the blog focuses on those species.

I came across a great scholarly article this morning about East African cichlid research and thought I would pass it on. It is a scholarly science article, thus contains vocabulary and information that the lay public might not understand. However, it is also chockful of little nuggets of easily digestible information and facts.

If you too like cichlids from East Africa, I encourage you to read through it. Titled “East African cichlid fishes,” it is publicly available.
