If you attend the Bluegrass Bash in Lexington, KY, the end of this month, look for me. If you see me, come up and introduce yourself. What do I look like? Pretty much the same as the photo on my About the author page. I’ll probably be wearing one of my blog t-shirts or you can always ask around for someone to point me out.
If you’re the first to find me and tell me you appreciate the blog, I’ll give you a free t-shirt.

It is shaping up to be a great event. See my post from March for links to more information.
If you haven’t already secured a room or registered for the event, I encourage you to do so soon.

We’re just about one month away from the 2025 edition of the Ohio Cichlid Association’s Extravaganza. I have posted about this event many times.

It’s almost that time again! The annual OCA Extravaganza is just around the corner – Nov 21-23, 2025. If you’ve never been, you should consider attending. Held every year in Strongsville, OH (a Cleveland suburb), it is one of the premier cichlid events in North America.
The American Cichlid Association (ACA) annual convention is just around the corner. Scheduled for June 12-15 in San Antonio, Texas, this year’s event is basically a meta-conference involving many other fish hobby organizations.

For the past week and half, I have been out of town on vacation (December 20-30). Did the fish go without food? Yes and no.
